Keyboards

My bluetooth wireless keyboard stopped connecting.

Please try the following ‘factory reset’ and if this does not solve the problem, reach out to our Customer Service via the Contact Us page.

  1. Remove the Penclic keyboard from your Paired Devices list on your computer.
  2. Press ‘Fn + Left shift + Backspace’
  3. Attempt to pair the keyboard once more


My keyboard does not seem to charge. What should I do?

Evaluate whether the problem is with the usb cord, the keyboard or the battery. See if the the keyboard will work in wired mode by pressing “FN+2” switch to wired connection.

If you feel the issue is the battery and your product is still within the warranty period, reach out to our customer support team and we will assist you.


How do I switch from bluetooth to wired mode?

To switch to Wired mode, connect your keyboard with the USB wire and press “FN+3” switch to wired connection. The indicator light should be green.


My keyboard lags when typing. What do I do?

Please reach out to our Customer Service team and we will assist you.


Are your keyboards Mac compatible?

Yes, they are, but since they are universal keyboards they will not feature some of the shortcuts found on Mac keyboards.

The KB3 contains the following hotkeys:

  • Brightness and down
  • Spotlight search
  • Media Controls (Volume, Play, Pause, Forward) are secondary keys on the Fn+ A,S,D and Fn+Z,X,C

Numpads

N3 Numpads - How to program?

Programming key combinations.

Download the Programming software via our downloads page: https://www.penclic.se/download

Click a button in the interface, select keyboard.

Click the key or key combination you want assigned to the key.  Then press ok.

Programming macros.

  1. Download the ”Penclic Control Center” software from https://www.penclic.se/download
  2. If the Firmware version is lower than 2.16 an update button will appear next to the version number after a few seconds, click the button and wait for the update to load.
  3. To create a macro click the Macro icon There are a couple of ways to input a macro, if your macro is only text and timing independent follow step 4 to 6. If your macro is timing dependent follow steps 7 throught 10.Text string only.
  4. Press the new key to open an empty macro.
  5. Press the add keyboard icon to input a text string.

Press ok.

Timing dependent macros

  1. Press the Rec key to go into recording mode.
  2. Go to a text document then press F11 to start recording. Once you have input your sequence slowly, press F11 again.
  3. Press ok in the Macro menu.
  4. Double click the Macro you have now created, then press the ”Decrease” key a few times to lower the macro time. Then press ok.Final steps.
  5. Rename the macro if you want.
  6. Select the Macro then press the arrow to copy the Macro to your device.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click the key apply the macro to. Select Macro from the menu and then the name of the Macro you recorded.
  9. Press save, Done.

Warranty

Limited Two-Year Warranty

All Penclic products are covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.

Limited 2 Year Warranty

Penclic AB warrants that this product will be free from manufacturing defects for a period two (2) years from the date of purchase by an end-user customer (“the Limited Warranty”). This Limited Warranty is limited to replacement or credit, at Penclic AB’s option, upon return of the defect product, along with original receipt of purchase, to the place of purchase.

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage from every day wear and tear or from transportation. This Limited Warranty applies only if the product (1) is used according to the instructions furnished by Penclic AB; (2) is not misused or abused; and (3) there is no evidence of tampering, mishandling, neglect, accidental damage, modification or repair without the approval of Penclic AB or damage done to the product by anyone other than Penclic AB.

 

PENCLIC AB DISCLAIMS ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, GUARANTEE OR REPRESENTATION AS TO SUITABILITY FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PERFORMANCE, QUALITY AND ABSENCE OF HIDDEN DEFECTS, AND ANY REMEDY FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, WHICH BUT FOR THIS PROVISION, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION, OPERATION OF LAW, CUSTOM OF TRADE OR COURSE OF DEALING, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Shipping & Returns

Unclaimed Packages at Post Offices

For packages that are not picked up at your post office within 14 days, Penclic reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping and freight companies’ administrative costs.

Product Damages During Transport

If the product is lost or you, upon receiving, notice that the item has been damaged during transport, you should immediately report this to us.

 

Returning A Package to Us

If a returned item is shipped internationally, please clearly mark the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’, to avoid any Customs charges. Penclic is NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

Conditions for Returns and Refunds

You can return the product within 30 days of delivery and it must be in new condition. If the product you are returning is ruined or used the product shall not be refunded. Make sure to include contact information with the return and if possible, please provide us with a tracking number. Penclic suggests you get a receipt and a package ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed. Penclic will make a refund of eligible returns (excluding freight and administration charge). If you paid by invoice, we will need a bank account number to transfer the money back to. The easiest way is to e-mail it to us along with a brief description of your case.

 

Our Return Policy

• You can return the product within 30 days of delivery.
• The product must be in new condition.
• To avoid any customs charges please clearly mark the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’.
• If a package is unclaimed you might have to pay a handling fee

Please contact Penclic before returning any items. It is appropriate that the consumer controls the delivery to verify that this is accurate and error free. At the complaint, the customer contacts Penclic and gives information relevant and the reason for complaint.

 

Mice

Can I replace the batteries on my wireless mouse?

Yes, the rechargeable battery can be replaced with a regular AAA battery. Although in this case it will no longer be rechargeable and would need to be replaced.


Are your mice compatible with Mac computers?

Yes, they are.
